Our Impact
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in several areas, including employment, transportation, public accommodations, communications and access to state and local government’ programs and services.
The unemployment rate for persons with a disability was 8.0 percent in 2018, more than twice the rate of those with no disability (3.7 percent).
Our services can help place more and more capable workers into local businesses, providing a positive impact for all; the consumers, the businesses, and especially those that wish to work in the local community.
